Do you have Prurigo Nodularis?

Learn about an investigational treatment that may help control the symptoms of Prurigo Nodularis.

Are you Struggling with intense skin itch and nodules?

Prurigo Nodularis is a chronic skin condition marked by firm, extremely itchy nodules that appear on the arms, legs, and torso. These nodules can cause intense itching, burning, stinging, and pain — severely affecting sleep, work, social life, and mental health.

A clinical research study is now enrolling individuals with Prurigo Nodularis to evaluate an investigational oral medication taken once daily. This study is evaluating an investigational treatment to see if it is safe and may help reduce prurigo nodularis symptoms by breaking the itch-scratch cycle and lowering the number of skin lesions. The study will also help doctors understand the possible side effects of the investigational medicine.

The study is being conducted at select sites across the U.S. Study-related care may be provided at no cost to the participant or insurer, and compensation for the time required to participate and for travel to and from the study center may be available to eligible participants.

FILL OUT THE FORM BELOW IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA

  • Are between the ages of 18 to 75
  • Have a clinical diagnosis of Prurigo Nodularis for at least 3 months
  • Have received prior treatment for Prurigo Nodularis
  • Are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant

About the Study

Prurigo Nodularis is a neuroinflammatory, fibrotic skin condition characterized by intense, long-lasting itch and scratch-induced nodules that commonly appear in symmetrical patterns. While the exact cause is unknown, research suggests it may result from a dysregulation between immune cells and nerve fibers.

This clinical research study involves taking an investigational oral medication once daily for up to 13 months. The medication may help reduce the itch, burning, and pain associated with Prurigo Nodularis. The study will also help doctors to understand the possible side effects of the investigational medicine.

All study-related medical examinations, and investigational treatments are provided at no cost to participants or their insurers. Eligible participants may also receive compensation for time and travel required to participate in the study.

Why Participate?

If you have Prurigo Nodularis, you may qualify for a new clinical research study. This study is evaluating an investigational oral medication to see if it is safe and helps stop the itch/scratch cycle and reduce the number of skin lesions.

Participants may help make a difference in the lives of others with Prurigo Nodularis. However, the investigational treatment may have side effects that are not expected, and the treatment being studied is not always better than other treatments or no treatment. Participants may need to visit the doctor more often than if they were not in a clinical trial.

If you qualify you will receive study-related care from experienced doctors, nurses, and research staff, including physical examinations, ECGs, laboratory work, and other examination visits with a trained investigator.

You might be eligible to receive compensation for your time participating in the study and travel to and from the study site and study related care may be provided at no cost.
