New Clinical Study for Painful Foot Nodules

Explore a no-cost research study of an investigational treatment for Plantar Fibromatosis (Ledderhose Disease) that may help reduce pain and soften nodules on the bottom of your foot.

Are you Living with Plantar Fibromatosis (PFI)?

Plantar Fibromatosis (PFI), or Ledderhose Disease, is a rare condition that causes painful, firm nodules on the bottom of one or both feet. It is more common in men and may be linked to genetics, diabetes, frozen shoulder, epilepsy, smoking, alcoholism, or repeated foot trauma.

A clinical trial is now enrolling adults with PFI to evaluate an investigational injection.

All study-related care is provided at no cost. Travel compensation may be available at select U.S. research sites.

FILL OUT THE FORM BELOW IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA

● Age 18 years or older
● Have been diagnosed with plantar fibromatosis
● Have at least one hard or firm nodule on one or both feet
● Are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant

About the Study

This clinical trial is evaluating an investigational injection for adults with Plantar Fibromatosis (PFI) who have at least one firm or hard nodule on the bottom of the foot. The treatment involves one or two injections that target the excess fibrous tissue.

The study lasts up to 113 days, including a screening period, and may include a second injection based on your response. Acetaminophen will be provided if pain relief is needed.

Participation in the study is at no cost and includes all study-related medical examinations, laboratory work, foot exam, foot photography, questionnaires and imaging (if required) conducted by medical investigators. Additionally, compensation for your travel may be available.
