Struggle with migraines?

Learn about a new, no cost research study
in the potential prevention of Migraine in adults
with Episodic Migraine

Over 36 million in the United States live with migraines. Migraine is the third most common and the seventh most disabling medical disorder in the world.1 An investigation is being conducted on the effectiveness of botulinum toxin as a preventative treatment for Episodic Migraine (6-14 migraine attacks per month).

You will receive study-related care and if eligible, receive compensation for your participation in the phase 3 clinical trial.

If you have headaches of moderate or severe intensity 6 to 14 times a month, you may suffer from Episodic Migraine. If you’re struggling with migraine, you may qualify for a new phase 3 research study, now being offered at select centers throughout 9 countries.

About the Study

Migraine is a neurological disease characterized by moderate or severe headache, associated with nausea, vomiting, and/or sensitivity to light and sound. Migraine can be further categorized according to the frequency of attacks as Episodic Migraine (6-14 times a month) or Chronic Migraine (15 or more times a month). This study will assess the effects of an investigational study drug in preventing migraine in adult participants with Episodic Migraine.

Botulinum toxin is being developed for the prevention of migraine in adults with Episodic Migraine. Participants will be enrolled in 3 different treatment groups. There is 1 in 3 chance that participants will be assigned to receive placebo. Approximately 777 adult participants with Episodic Migraine will be enrolled in approximately 125 sites across the world.

Participants will attend regular visits with a local medical clinic at no cost. The effect of the treatment will be checked by medical assessments, blood tests, checking for side effects and completing questionnaires. Eligible participants will be compensated for time and travel.
