Are you living with lupus-related skin rashes?

Learn about a no-cost investigational treatment for active Cutaneous Lupus Erythematosus (CLE), with or without Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE).

Research Study for Active Lupus Skin Symptoms

Cutaneous Lupus Erythematosus (CLE) is an autoimmune condition that affects the skin, causing rashes, lesions, and red or scaly patches. Some people with CLE may also have Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), which can affect other organs in the body.

Current lupus treatments often include corticosteroids, antimalarials, and immunosuppressive medications. While these therapies can help manage symptoms, they may not fully control skin disease for everyone. Researchers are studying targeted therapies that aim to better regulate the immune system.

You may qualify for a Phase 3 research study evaluating an investigational oral medication for people with active lupus-related skin symptoms, with or without systemic involvement.

The study is being conducted at select locations across the U.S. Eligible participants will receive study-related care at no cost. Compensation for time and travel may be available.

About the Study

This clinical research study is evaluating an investigational oral medication for adults with active lupus-related skin symptoms, also known as Cutaneous Lupus Erythematosus (CLE), with or without Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE).

The study lasts about 35 weeks and includes a screening period, 24 weeks of treatment, and a follow-up visit. Participants will attend approximately 9 in-person visits at the study site, scheduled about every 4 weeks. One televisit is also required during the study. The study medication is taken by mouth twice daily during the treatment period.

All study-related care is provided at no cost, including exams, lab work, ECGs, skin photography, and health questionnaires. Compensation for time and travel may be available.
