Developing new treatment for Crohn’s Disease
Crohn’s disease is a chronic, progressive inflammatory disease of the gastrointestinal tract that causes swelling and irritation of the tissues in the digestive tract, ultimately leading to serious intestinal issues. Symptoms may include diarrhea, frequent bowel movements, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, blood in the stool, fatigue, joint pain, and mouth ulcers.
If you have Crohn’s disease and have not found relief with current therapies, you might qualify for a research study on an investigational medication that could potentially improve inflammation and manage symptoms of Crohn’s disease.
The study is being conducted in Monroe, NC. Eligible participants will receive all study-related care at no cost. Travel and time reimbursement may also be available.
